Stanford’s new Vaden Health Center replaced the aged Cowell infirmary, bringing important advances in student healthcare to the Stanford campus. Health Promotion Services, Counseling and Psychological Services, Physical Therapy, a travel clinic, radiology, and a pharmacy complement and support the general medical services offered to students. Vaden has become the standard for university health services across the country.

“I’ll tell you what our architect did for us. Most critically they got us 40,000 square feet of functionality in a 30,000 square foot building... They brought us the best thinking in outpatient primary care.… They gave us very workable spaces with good natural light, high ceilings, nice public spaces and very sensible workflows.”
