Stanford’s new Vaden Health Center replaced the aged Cowell infirmary, bringing important advances in student healthcare to the Stanford campus, including advanced access, integrated care team organization, health education resources, and a carefully designed physical environment tuned especially to students who may be seeking care for the first time on their own. Health Promotion Services, Counseling and Psychological Services, Physical Therapy, a travel clinic, radiology, and a pharmacy complement and support the general medical services offered to students. Vaden has become the standard for university health services across the country.
