The Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation workplace received a Merit Award for Design Excellence for Interior Architecture presented by the AIA Santa Clara Valley Chapter at its Design Awards program on October 27.
"We found that this space has a wonderful, clear diagram with a semi-circular spine that runs through the building that organizes it in an extremely clear and humane way and makes it something quite special; the daylighting, the use of materials, all of which are recycled or green products- really extremely inventive."
