Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation Complete

Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation's new headquarters in Palo Alto opened for business February 9, 2009. The 62,000 s.f. interior renovation is registered LEED Gold. Sustainable features include the use of reclaimed and Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified wood throughout the building and in the furniture, as well as the use of recycled and rapidly renewable materials. An innovative light reflecting, sound absorbing system of ceiling leaves defines the collaborative team work areas.
